Our story started in May 2015 when we opened Poivre et Sel in Whitianga, on the Coromandel Peninsula, later relocated on the iconic Marine Parade in sunny Napier, Hawkes Bay in November 2019.
We offered delightful dinners to our guests in an intimate, friendly and romantic atmosphere.
Our mission was to bring the best flavor on your plates, with seasonal, fresh and French cuisine.
We used our own vegetables & herbs from our garden in Clive.
Bookings were essential to enjoy the full French experience
around sumptuous meals and beautiful French wines.
We have always supported local suppliers and listed the best Hawke's Bay wines.
We offered many memorable dinners for many years, it was unique & we are proud of what we have achieved.
Our children Morgane & Mathis who always worked with us, are now young adults, and it's time for the whole family for some new adventures.
We are now bringing the French authenticity to you with
